Kim’s writing career began with copious amounts of notes written to school friends at night in between homework assignments. It continued with submissions to her high school literary magazine, and by her senior year, she was the editor. It stalled during her highly confusing and blindly egocentric twenties and restarted with the beginnings of clarity and perspective that came along with her thirties.
Kim enjoys exploring human connections and relationships. She coaches social dynamics, teaching people how to better relate to one another, knowing that connectedness helps create happiness, hoping that happiness will lead to world peace. The mother of a young daughter, she finds herself fascinated with the parallel human struggles of children and adults. She uses her writing to emphasize that which brings us together – for her own sanity as well as making people smile.
