One of our goals here at Today’s Author is to help all of the writers among us to do what we love to do: write. One of the best ways to accomplish this is by talking to each other and learning from each other. Our Writers Circle series is designed to do just that – provide a chance for us to discuss writing, editing and publishing questions.
This week’s topic is:
We all work on our character development within our books and stories. But sometimes that’s not enough. Some authors create social media presences for their characters, create extra stories for the characters and do other things that help to define and build the character into a more complete individual. What, if anything, do you do outside of the context of your books? When your character started being defined did they begin outside of a story and then come into their own in the context of a story?
Let’s discuss this in the comments and see what our community thinks.
