I have two that I’ll share here:
“If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn’t brood. I’d type a little faster.” – Isaac Asimov
“I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” – Douglas Adams
Bob Hope once said, “If this was a prize fight, they’d stop it.” He was referring to golf, but I often think of that in reference to my novel writing career.
Here are 4 from me, Shari:

Be sober when planning your investment portfolio but get a little wild and crazy when you write. The dividends are different for each.
I hold the firmament in my pen. Now only to dip the quill to the page.
Give me a kiss. I will write one more word.
You can’t wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club. Jack London
Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass.
Anton Chekhov
Two quotes hang in plain sight in my writing space.
“I write when I’m inspired, and I see to it that I’m inspired at nine o’clock every morning. ” ― Peter De Vries
“The first draft of anything is shit.” ― Ernest Hemingway
I really need to get them off post it notes and framed.
