Thanksgiving Day

It is Thanksgiving Day in the United States today. Thoughts turn to traditions and thankfulness, food and football (well, at least for some of us). For many of us, Thanksgiving Day is a chance to write (and maybe catch up on our word counts for NaNoWriMo).

We’d like to know what you, as a writer, are thankful for. What are your characters thankful for?

All of us at Today’s Author wish you and yours a happy, safe and healthy Thanksgiving and holiday season.

  1. I am thankful for “Delight in Disorder” — within my life and in my writing.

    Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

  2. Football? That’s like golf only the ball is bigger, right?
I’m thankful for so much, but mostly family and friends who lift me and keep me smiling.
And I don’t write on Thanksgiving.
OK, I won’t write after I finish this message.
Unless I must respond to other messages.
Oh, shoot, I have to go check on what’s in the oven.
Oh, shoot, nothing’s in the oven.
    Gotta go.
Oh, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. May your blessings keep you.
    (Happy Hanukkah too!)
